We are committed to respecting your privacy and protecting the confidentiality of your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Data Protection Act 1998, and in a manner consistent with your expectations.

GENERAL USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Unless legally required to do so, we will never provide your information to third parties without your agreement.


WHAT INFORMATION DO WE GATHER?

In addition to the information you provide directly, such as through our website contact form, we also collect certain data indirectly. 

Like most websites, we maintain access logs that record users' IP addresses and browser types. This information is aggregated to generate statistical reports, helping us understand website traffic and usage patterns.

These log files do not contain any personally identifiable information. They are used solely for analytical purposes to improve the performance and content of our website.


BROWSER DETECTION

We identify the browser you are using to customize the website content accordingly. This helps us optimise your experience by accommodating the specific features and addressing any known issues related to different operating systems, browser types, and browser versions.

BOOKINGS

To enable us to successfully carry out our works we need access to water via an outside tap and access to electricity. 

Please ensure you have booked the right service for the expectation of the condition you want your vehicle to meet, if you are unsure on what service will meet your expectations please contact us prior to booking and we can discuss and agree.

All secure bookings are deposit-based, bookings are not secured until a deposit has been paid. Deposits are paid directly via bank transfer or cash. 

Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is less than 72 hours prior to the appointment time and this is due to there being minimal time allowed to fill this appointment, if you cancel 72+ hours prior to your appointment we will endeavour to move your appointment to a date more suitable to your needs / circumstances.

Deposit amounts will be 20% of the package, and/or work booked and this will be deducted from your total payable upon completion of service. 

We will photograph all vehicles for our internal quality and security control records. 

With your consent we may use photographs of your vehicle for promotional purposes. 

License plates will not be displayed on any of detailed by Ri’s platforms. 

If you prefer not to have your vehicle featured in promotional materials please do confirm.


VANS

These are priced upon arrival. We may be able to give a better idea of price if the customer supplies photographs of the interior areas of the van. This can be done by sending photos to us via text message or email.

If your interior is heavily soiled with mud, pet hair, mould, vomit, blood or any other stubborn fluids additional charges WILL apply. We advise if you have any of the above to send a few select pictures before booking so that we can provide a fair estimate. If not, the price will be negotiated upon the day before any work commences.


WORKING CONDITIONS 

For health and safety and insurance purposes, we can only valet vehicles on private driveways or courtyards. We cannot valet vehicles on roadsides or public car parks.

If your location has any of these limitations, please contact us beforehand to discuss alternative arrangements.

Please ensure that your vehicle is free from possessions and litter so that we can carry out a thorough cleaning process to your vehicle without delay.


MAINTENANCE SCHEME

If you are a customer on our maintenance scheme, your car must be booked in at least every 4-6 weeks. If a period of more than 6 weeks elapses, this is no longer considered a maintenance clean and will be charged at our full rates.


LIABILITY 

You must remove from the vehicle any valuable items which are not connected to the vehicle. We will not be responsible for loss of or damage to any such items. Please do not ask our vehicle detailers to remove or store any such items for you, as we accept no responsibility or liability.

Before allowing us to begin providing the Services, you must tell us about any defects, damage or weakness in your vehicle which may affect the Services or are otherwise relevant.

Child seats must be removed and replaced by you, as our operators will not refit in any circumstances due to health and safety. We are not responsible for checking the proper installation of child safety seats. This is entirely the vehicle owner’s responsibility.

We are not responsible for any mechanical or electrical faults that may occur during the cleaning process.

You agree that existing paint chips/scratches on your vehicle may become visible after cleaning and that we will not be held responsible for any lifting and/or flaking to paintwork, lacquer, decals and trim (including without limitation wheels) during the valet process where this is as a result of an underlying condition which may not be obvious prior to detailing the vehicle.

Insurance of your vehicle is at all times your responsibility.

We shall not accept responsibility for claims made after a vehicle detailer has confirmed completion of the job.


SERVICES

We will make every effort to complete the Services on time in each instance, but there may be delays due to circumstances beyond our control in which case we will complete the Services as soon as reasonably possible.

In the event that we cannot complete the services on the selected day we will seek to contact you and arrange for the services to be completed on the soonest available subsequent day. 

No responsibility can be accepted by us for any discrepancies detected after our vehicle detailers have left your premises. Should the service be carried out without you present and you have cause for complaint, then, you need to contact us within 24 hours of completion via email - Rianna@detailedbyri.co.uk. Should you fail to report within this time scale then we may decline to rectify any discrepancies.


PAYMENTS 

You may pay in cash upon completion or alternatively Payments can be made via bank transfer 


CAR SIZE EXAMPLES

Small Cars: examples are two-seater and most four-seater compact cars. Examples include the Fiat 500, Kia, and Toyota Aygo.

Medium Cars:  Examples Include standard Coupe & saloon cars, such as the Audi A3, BMW 3 Series, and jaguar XF.

Large Cars: Example are estate crossovers, and 4x4’s. Examples are the BMW X6, Land Rovers, Audi Q7 and Mercedes S-Class.


PRICES

Prices are as displayed on the “Services" page on our Website. 

Prices are subject to change and we reserve the right to change such prices at any time by posting new prices on the Website. 


PROMO 

Loyalty cards: 

Earn 20% off your 5th most booked service & 40% off on your 10th most booked service.   

Friend Recommendation:

If you recommend somebody and they book in a service no matter how big or small they will receive a 20% discount, as will you on your following booking, 

Please ensure the person recommended leaves your full name and confirms that they were recommended by yourself when booking.


CANCELLATIONS

The Customer agrees to use their best endeavours to give 72 hours notice should the Customer wish to cancel their appointment.

We may reschedule bookings in extreme weather, lightning & thunder (e.g. red warnings) for safety.

Within 48 hours of booking, we will gladly alter your booking with reasonable adjustments, providing the address or location meets all other terms and conditions.


REFUNDS 

You may rearrange or completely cancel your Service at any time up to 72 hours prior to your booked time without losing deposit funds.

If you wish to cancel with less than 72 hours notice, you may do so, however you will lose your deposit. 

If by any means we are to cancel or rearrange your booking due to an unfortunate incident, it will be within 7 days of the original booking. If not, a full refund of the deposit will be honoured.
